wamid is built on a simple commitment: we remember what you choose to give us, and nothing more. Here is what that means in practice.
- No background recording
- wamid never listens, watches, or scans without your explicit input. No background microphone, no screen capture, no clipboard sniffing. Every memory in wamid is one you actively saved.
- You choose what comes back
- Every return is anchored to a memory you saved. You decide what wamid remembers and when it comes back. You can mute a return, dismiss a thread, or delete the underlying memory.
- AI runs on what you give it
- wamid's AI processes the memories you save. We don't train AI models on your captures. The intelligence is yours — built on what you chose to keep.
- Delete and export
- One tap deletes a memory. Another tap exports your whole archive as plain text. The memory belongs to you, including the day you decide to leave.
- Paid later, not ad-funded
- Free during the private beta. Paid plans will follow once the product earns it. wamid is never built on selling your personal data, your captures, or your attention.

- wamid is led by Yassine El Idrissi and built through LittLab Studio in Rabat, Morocco. Aligning toward GDPR and Moroccan law 09-08 — formal certification will follow as wamid grows.
